TTEC Chess is the chess club of The Travelers Employees Club (TTEC). We meet regularly to learn and teach about chess, to discuss news from the world of chess, and most of all to play chess. The club is open to all Travelers employees and retirees. (Joining)

Lunchtime face-to-face meetings at The Exchange in Hartford
After-work online sessions on Lichess
Lunchtime online sessions on Lichess

We meet weekly for one of these sessions. We also have occasional training/discussion meetings.

The club has 91 members, including 6 retirees. The majority are from the Hartford area, but other sites are represented as well. There are members from all Travelers' lines of business, and many different fields. Players have a wide range of skills, and a commensurate range of ratings.

Puzzles

We send out a weekly chess puzzle to members. We strive for a mix of easy and harder puzzles, as well as a variety of themes and stages of the game. Most are Lichess puzzles, taken from games on the platform. A smaller number are from Grandmaster games or are composed puzzles.
